"My technology-free day was a nightmare," exclaims one student at the very beginning of her final presentation on technology, nature, and her inner experiences of both. This exclamation has amused me so much that I have repeated it often through the day when describing this project to other students and colleagues at Saint Francis University, a small university tucked into the hills of the Allegheny mountains in central Pennsylvania.

Smaller, faster and much more efficient is very much the ideal of tomorrow's computers, as is mobility. A number of industry experts say the idea of increased mobility technology is nearly certain in 10 years. A report from Pew Internet Research polling 1,000 technology execs indicates by the year 2020, mobile technology will be our main access for the internet. Furthermore, the same experts say most communications appliances will come with voice-demand technology.

With expensive technology the old adage, if a little is good, more is better just doesn't work. Besides the cost, when you buy too much you tend to get overwhelmed. With this feeling comes the problem of avoidance. If things are overwhelming we tend to avoid using the technology and that is just wasteful.

Instant messaging and texting. Weigh the pros and cons. On average it takes someone four minutes to get back on track after being distracted (up to 15 minutes if working on a detailed project). For many, the distractions read more that instant messaging and texting create are not worth the communication value.

If not, your company will be unnecessarily challenged in meeting strategic goals.Technology is complicated, confusing and intimidating, but also closely tied to the success of an ever increasing number of businesses in today's marketplace. At home. Surely, household appliances are marvels of technology. You wouldn't want to be wasting time handwashing your clothes when you have your washing machine to do that. You also wouldn't want to sit in a hot room when an electric fan or air conditioner can cool you down.

Embracing technology, especially Internet technology, has infinite potential for you in so many ways on both a personal level and a business level. Think about video for a second...you can take a recording of anything... your baby's first steps or maybe a business meeting, it doesn't much matter. You can upload that video to YouTube and have it available for anyone to view anywhere around the globe. It will literally take you 5 minutes to complete the process. This type of power and reach is just amazing to see and even more amazing to actively participate in.

Since these toys are like robots, their action and what they say will be repetitive. I guess it will be a great idea if we can download programs from the internet and install it into these toys for a different variety of action perform by them.
